Lagoa do Fogo is a crater lake within the Água de Pau Massif stratovolcano in the center of the island of São Miguel in the Portuguese archipelago of the Azores.

The woods of dr. Fraga is located on the Furnas regional road and occupies about 15,000 m². Its construction dates back to the 19th century and was completed in the late 90’s when its owner has introduced most of the improvements that are known for the purpose of enhancing the botanical collection.
